Requirements
Responsibilities:
Manage assigned regional accounts and develop new accounts to meet sales budgets and objectives
Build and maintain customer relationships with new and existing customers, provide timely market information based on current market conditions
Work closely with operations on ingredient sourcing, logistics, and other initiatives
Participate in identifying new business development opportunities and commercialization of new product initiatives to grow the business
Provide product development sales expertise including manufacturing technology comprehension
Participate in trade shows representing NGT to increase awareness as a leading supplier of packages and services in the Cosmetic, Food & Beverage, Pet, Tobacco, Cannabis & Hemp industries
Analyze freight and market spreads, volume dynamics, and customer products balances; stay abreast of changes to commodity market fluctuations
The regional manager does all sales work by himself with support from the operation team; The regional manager needs to talk to C-level decision maker directly
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in an executive wholesale role with a proven track record in the Packaging industries - MUST
Demonstrated business and commercial acumen
Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
Advanced Computer Skills- Able to work with multiple forms of communication.
Highly skilled and able to develop and manipulate Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
